Intersil (India) exited its semiconductor and software businesses in 2005 and 2009 respectively and diversified into real estate with an investment in land in a prime residential area (Panchshila Park) in New Delhi. The Company expects to invest further to develop this land in the next 12 to 24 months. Approximate scale of the project is 25,000 square feet with projected revenue of Rs. 100 crores.
Furthermore the Intersil group has a 2.57 acres land plot in Mehrauli District, Jonapur, Delhi with permissible FSI of approximately 50,000 sq.ft. that can be used for residential and/or commercial purpose. The company is currently undertaking feasibility report on the said plot.
The group is looking to develop a City Center in Kullu District, Himachal Pradesh on its 1 Acre site.
Lastly the company has commercial premises in Mumbai.
